Bug with DR3 4.0 ROMs in 3.0a8

I just started playing with the new DR3 image -- when I first boot a device
using the en-VZColor ROM, it comes up in the preferences.  Trying to switch
to Network in the prefs results in a NULL pointer dereference, and then
switching away causes the emulated device to crash.
