Note that 'using C++' and 'using C++ with STL' are two different things.
Also, your faq has a link to another page where it is stated:
"An 8 KB one-time size hit is a trivial amount on a modern PC, but on
the
Palm, 8 KB is 1/4 of the worst-case total program size."
Multi-segment programs allow you to make truly large Palm programs
(several
hundred Kbytes). I don't know if there are any other compiler/os
limits, but
Palms are available with 7+ Mbyte of free space for programs.
