INet Low example

when i tried to run the inetlow example
and give the url and post data and and click on get it i get this message

your handheld could not connect to the server
wait a few inutes and try again.

I am using an emulator to use the Inet api is that the problem
is there any configuration to be done to use the inet api on the emulator.
