Which device are your using?

paths which would cause the dmLastErr value to be set to
dmErrResourceNotFound. On 3.5, DmOpenDatabase invokes DmOpenDbNoOverlay
first, and that always sets the lastErr value. 3.0 has all that code in
DmOpenDatabase, but again, the return always gets set. With a 0 dbID, you
should be getting the dmErrInvalidParam error.
Very very odd.
