Issues with Palm VII

Does anyone know of any pitfalls programming for the Palm VII?  I've got an
app that calls WinEraseRectangle, WinEraseWindow, and WinDrawBitmap that
works fine on all ROMs except Palm VII.  On PalmVII, it crashes horrible.
Any thoughts?
