Salutations!!!
I need some guidance on Palm development. Currently, I have a working Palm
application. It is a single PRC consisting of the code and the user interface. I would
like to separate the code resources and the user interface resources into 2 PRCs.
With this in mind, I intent to distribute two PRCs initially. One is the application
itself while the other is user interface resources (forms, strings, bitmaps, etc.).
Upon changes to the user interface or language customisation, I can then modify the
user interface resource database and distribute it.
Thus, I do not have to re-compile the application and re-distributed whenever there is
a new change in UI. I have went through eScribe and I know it is possible but no clear
picture on how to do it. Palm Programming book does not give much insight as well.
I copied the .mcp file and remove all the source code files. I get link errors
concerning some dummy startup function. Then, I added in the StartUp.Lib and get some
blackjack???mandalay??? errors.
Any tips, directions or guidance is much appreciated.
