There are a LOT of really cheap IIIe's and IIIx's out there - even recently, they sold 
by the ton.  :)
Although they have 3.1, they can't all be upgraded upgraded to 3.3 ?

Has anyone confirmed that one of these guys upgraded to 3.3 recognizes 16-shade mode?
