Don't underestimate the "big ego" thing. That's exactly why Linux is in
the sorry state uit's in now. Everyone starts up a new project or
distribution instead of putting effort into a currently existing project.
All for ego.

I thought there was already a pretty good discussion here about the name.
I think the goal for a name needs to be something that's simple and
descriptive, not something that sounds cool or has cool letters in it for
the sake of having cool letters ([XQZ] = cool letters). "Datebook" is a
good example.
As for a name, what does it do? It manages traps. "TrapManager"
Want to insulate the user from the dirty details of the system (what's a
trap?): "ExtensionManager". Dave mentioned though that there's some
mythical thing they already call extensions, so we might want to avoid
this on. This is what Apple calls it though, afaik.
"ModManager"?
Also, maybe this should be a control panel, not another app.
