maybe i should refine my question,
there can be multiple categories in a database (multiple tables)
hence DmQueryNextInCategory
in a conduit i use this to write in a certain category (table)

vData)
Member of PDStandardLib.PDRecordAdapter
method Write
my question is:
how can i get this functionality on the Palm ?
is there an equivalent in the Data Manager set of functions?
