NO matter what you do, your program can be cracked.  All you can do 
is make it harder to crack.  But remember that these people who crack 
software love the challenge.  The harder you make it to crack the 
more of a challenge it is to them.

Also remember.  Anyone who uses crack software will not buy your 
application anyway.  So, you probably have not lost any money.  
Anyone who does not use crack software will not care that it has been 
cracked.

Here is one thing that I did, but no longer do as it is a waste of 
code space, is to search for the application ID of the crack 
software.  If that Palm ID existed on the palm, when my program 
launched, I made a special "Unregistered version" pop up.  The person 
using the crack software did not get the idea that his crack software 
was detected.  He would then just contact me about his problem.  
Since I new the form that popped up could only happen when crack 
software was installed.

I often got them to admit that they were using crack software, as a 
test.
