I just tried using some of the card features of DR3 and I noticed something that to me seems a little odd. Under OS 3.5 (and probably earlier), any databases that shared a creator id with an application would be tied to that application. So, for example, when I went to the "Delete..." or the "Info..." menu in the launcher, I would be able to delete the entire set of databases in one shot. The related databases would display in the list only if they didn't share a creator id with an application that resided on the palm. Under DR3 this behavior seems to continue when all of the pieces are on the "Handheld". If, however, I use the "Copy" function to copy my application to the card, only the prc is copied. Now, that's what it's supposed to do, I understand. However, if I then try to "Delete..." the application from the handheld, both the prc and the associated pdb files are deleted. How does the user delete the prc from the handheld while leaving the pdb files? I haven't done anything with the bundle bit since I haven't yet updated my tools--I'm just using my current app. [Speaking of which, are there any new palm-based tools that allow me to bundle my pdbs with my prcs?] Andy Ihlenfeldt Lawson Software -- For information on using the Palm Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.palmos.com/dev/tech/support/forums/
