Hi !
I'm somewhat new to Palm developing and still at the beginning.
I have a special problem and I can't get the clue:
I try to build an uparrow-button on a form with Metrowerks constructor.
I placed an simple button object on the form, changed the size to width
13, height 8, disabled "Frame", set the font to Symbol 7 and entered
"03" (which I think is the hex for decimal "3") as label text and
checked "Hexadezimal". As mentioned in the Palm OS Programming Bible in
the Symbol 7 font the decimal 3 charakter should be the uparrow.
But two things happen: At the Layout Appearance windows there's
nothing inside the button frame. Also when I click on the button again
and reenter the Layout Properties window the checkbox for hexadecimal is
disabled and the label text is empty.
Does anybody have any suggestions ? (I'm sure you have ...)
