a few months ago, I developed an app in satellite forms ee 4.0. it
basically took about 2 weeks, including writing a conduit in VB using the
activeX control they provide.

for well defined data, satelitte forms works well. for apllications where
the data is a little bit more abstract, or there are complex things going
on (such as games, or complex data management) satellite forms wont work
at all.

we ended up re-writing the app in C codewarrior, so that we could do more
things. it actually only took 2 weeks to do that as well. also, satellite
forms uses a "runtime engine" - basically a VM, which adds overhead to
your application install. the satellite forms version of our app was like
120k, plus another 150k for the engine. our C version was like 30k.

In my opinion, SF is good for "prototyping" an idea, but quicky runs into
limitations....
