Because FlpFToA doesn't take a float in the first parameter.  Look in the
NewFloatMgr.h file for the correct function definition.  If you don't mind
the converted string to be formatted in scientific notation, then go ahead
and use the function. Otherwise, I'd start writing your own code to convert
a float to a string.  How?... look in the forum archive, there has been tons
of code examples posted and links to even more examples.
