Enqueue'ing an event locks out the key events. Apparently (although I can't
find documentation on it) the priority order is:
Events (highest)
System Events (which includes key events)
Pen Events (lowest)
Therefore what I need is an event less than or equal to the priority of a
pen event as to not lock out the key events.
Procedural alarm... I'll look into that one.
