bitmaps and icons

Hi there,
is there a way to add icons and bitmaps that I already have without having
to draw them myself? Becaue I noticed, when I add a bitmap or icon resource
through the constructor and click on it, it always displays this mini tool
to draw it myself, but I alreday have them and I just want to use them. What
would I do?
