First you have to figure out the character number of the arrow
you want to use. "AsciiChart" is a perfect (free) tool for this.
Use this program in order to find the arrows you wish to use.
Then you have to set the label of the resource you would like to
label with the arrow. How to do this depends on the tools you are
actually using. With pilrc you have to write a numerical escape for
the character (like "\003" for the black right arrow in the Symbol11
font). Refer to your C Handbook for more details on this.
In Constructor - the resource editor of the CodeWarrior tool suite - you
can select "View hex" in the label editor popup and type in the number
then.
