Allocating memory without globals...

I realize this is a basic question, that seems obvious, but I want to
make sure.

If you are launched in a mode without any globals, is their any problem
with allocating dynamic memory as long as you free it before you exit?
(There's nothing funky about you being the same memory chunk owner as
the other you with the globals?)
