I meant dragging a project from Explorer into a CW project window.

The 'link against' option is in the target list -- its the last column which
has a chain link as its header. When you click there, turning on the dot,
then the output of the linked project is inserted into the main project and
included in the link.

You can hit the plus sign to the right of the target name and control which
targets of the linked project are used.
