Is the handshaking sequence for Hotsync documented anywhere? Some experiments we have tried in the lab suggests that both the Palm device and Hotsync manager on the PC start at 9600bps no matter what the Hotsync baud rate is set to. There is a switch to a higher baud rate after the initial handshaking is done. Using our wireless hardware device, we can send serial data wireless (not IR) between a Palm and a PC without problems. It just won't hotsync.
