I'd advise you to check the data structures FOR EACH version. In my
experience (with the datebook), they do change *lol* ...

Hi,
I'm working with an app that needs to display and interact
with contact information in the addressbook database. While
the find dialog via AppLaunch meets some of the needs,
other requirements can only be met by opening the database
directly and displaying the results.
While copying the Address sample code is working I'm
concerned about how standard this is and whether I'll
have problems with consistency from one OS version to
another (this has to run on OS2.0 upwards and on non-Palm
hardware). Any comments?
If this approach is valid I'd also be interested in whether there
is a standard code module to wrap this access. If this doesn't
exist I'd be willing to contribute towards creating such a beast
if someone had time to manage the project.
