I think I just figured this out two weeks ago. OK, there is a separate
emulator executable for profiling. It should be in the same folder as
your regular emulator but it's called Emulator_Profile.exe. Run that
one and if you right click on the emulator like you usually do to save
or whatever, there is a profiling option with the choices of start,
stop, and dump. Basically you can run your app, start profiling (I
usually run a few gremlins with profiling on), stop and dump. It puts a
profile results file in your emulator directory. It gives you info on
the time spent in functions, number of times called, typical stuff you
would expect from a profiler.
