AFAIK, you can set the row/colum to be a different control.
>From the reference you can set the type of a table item to be
checkboxTableItem, dateTableItem, labelTableItem, ...
popupTriggerTableItem, and bunch of other things.
In the worst case, you can set it to customTableItem and call
TblSetCustomDrawProcedure and draw it yourself.
