Sounds like you need a conduit - you can write one in Delphi, VB, C/C++
etc. There are also Palm libraries at ASTA (http://www.astatech.com)
that will transfer data over a TCP/IP link.

What format you use is up to you.

You can use C/C++, VB, Delphi etc with the CDK available from
http://www.palmos.com. There are a number of third-party tools like our
components for writing conduits in Delphi (see our FAQ page for a list
of them).

Many databases like HanDBase include conduits too.
