Hi,
I have managed to flash my Palm IIIc with PalmOS 4.0 - make sure you are
using the correct ROM - I used the english-colour version (about 1.6Mb).
An Yes!! the Palm Vx Updater is essential.

PS Some pre-SP1 versions of Windows 2000 do not operate the serial port
correctly (i believe) which stops this upgrade from taking place. If you
have this problem upgrade to SP1 and everything should be fine.
