It is 4K. However, you can put records larger than 4k. And you can
read records (to some limit) that are greater than 4K. But
unfortunately you cannot edit or save anything over 4K.
For instance, before I realized there was a limit, I saved records to
MemoPad that were over 4k (not much but over). I never edited them in
MemoPad but did use MemoPad to view them. So, I was unaware there was
a limit. But then one day, I tried to edit one of those records, when I
saved the record, it was chopped off at 4k.
Anyway, 4k is the limit, if you want to view and edit them in MemoPad.
There is not this limit, insofaras, a limit on the database. It is a
limit within the MemoPad application.
