I encountered this problem on Windows POSE. If it works fine on the actual
device then it should not concern me.

I have seen it too. Are you running on a Mac? I haven't tried this on
Windows but from development efforts a while ago on some timing software
we have, I think the Mac has some "issues" with events and under some
circumstances (like this one) needs to be "nudged". Although this may be
a totally separate thing. But I've definitely seen it on POSE, but you
will NOT see it (at least I didn't) on a real device.
