I'm in need of a good benchmark/tracer program for the Palm OS that can
evaluate the performance of specific apps. For example, if I have two
separate programs (yet similar types of apps) on the Palm OS that I want
to do a side by side comparison against, I need to be able to find out
info such as how fast they can do similar tasks (i.e. searches). Idealy,
I'd be able to find out how fast these tasks are performed (computer
time), how many cpu cycles were used and other standard
hardware/software evaluation information. The only benchmark programs I
can find for the Palm OS(i.e. Benchmark 2.0) only give general
comparison information against other Palm devices. I realize that I
could write my own, however, time is of great importance. Any help would
be greatly appreciated!! Thanx.
