Off the top of my head, there are a couple of things:
a) The MemoPad Tutorial was designed to build with the Palm OS 3.1 SDK. No Palm
OS 3.5 SDK-compatible version was released, to the best of my knowledge, and
CodeWarrior for Palm R7 only includes the Palm OS 3.5 SDK. CodeWarrior Lite came
with the Palm OS 3.1 SDK.
b) The compiler has been updated since CodeWarrior Lite and is stricter now,
particular with implicit type conversions. That could account for some of the
errors.
Solving it would probably take some work to be honest - not necessarily hard,
but time-consuming. I'd recommend using MemoPad with whichever toolset/SDK it
came with and once you get the hang of it, update to the newest SDK/CodeWarrior.
