Cool thanks.. I'll have to look in to how to trap those, never done it
before. I've gotten complaints from some users that the password is visible
when they enter it.. so i my boss says, make it so they can turn that off :)

trap keyDownEvents, and put "*" in the field instead of the char
that was entered. you can then store the char that was entered
into a seperate string, which you use for comparing the password.
problem is, with palm - this is very non-standard.
you can easily get errors using grafitti to enter in a password,
and, since the palm is a very personal device, you dont need to
****** out the password when you enter.. you just hold it closely
to yourself and make sure no-one peeks :>
