You need to register for the notifiction event.
sysNotifyLateWakeupEvent or
sysNotifyEarlyWakeupEvent
i would recommend late, due to the fact that early may shut the device back off right
after the fact.

The application that I am developing needs to be able to execute some
code right when the device is turned on. However there is no event
for poweron. I wonder if there are any other ways of detecting that
power has just been turned on within active application.
(need this for special time out within the app)
