Try right-click reset to bypass this.

I was not able to reproduce this at all. I did find that if I tried to
debug to the emulator before it was ready a few times in a row, I could
hang up the connection and have to restart the emulator and/or the IDE to
reestablish the connection. This is a lot easier to do with the new ROMs
and the new emulator, but I didn't see anything on reset. Course I was
using the Address book and stationery app to play with -- nothing to large
or complicated.
