Is there a way to programatically change the application category of the
running application? Modifying the 'taic' resource does not work as
launcher never refreshes and picks up the new name. Alternatively, does
anyone know the format of the psysLaunchDB database?
I also want to programatically change the application name of the running
application. Modifying the 'tAIN' resource seems to work, but launcher
does not refresh and pick up the new name until I soft reset. Is there
another way?
And finally, I want to programatically change the application icon (normal
and small) of the running application. I saw code snippet in the
newsgroups that involved modifying the 'tAIB' resource, but it makes calls
to undocumented Palm API to handle semaphore get/release. Is there
another way?
