HandEra is sponsoring an on-line developer contest for freeware and shareware developers who add HandEra 330 support to their exiting applications (new applications also accepted). Applications that customize the virtual silk screen (IE keyboards) are also eligible. The authors of the top 12 applications, as voted on by our external HandEra 330 Beta Team, will each receive a new HandEra 330 handheld computer! Submit your application before June 4, 2001 to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Applications submitted must adhere to the following guidelines: � Comply with PalmOS UI Guidelines. � Include support for minimizing/maximizing of the Virtual Silkscreen. � Support the HandEra 330 system font set if appropriate. � Support other 160x160 Palm-Powered devices (Palm IIIxe, m500, etc). � Include Icon IDs 2000, 2001, 2002. � Appear as High-Res in Application Preference Panel Note: Support for one-hand operation and screen rotation are optional. Applications that modify the Virtual Silk area are exempt from the above requirements. These applications, however, must exit gracefully when run on non-HandEra 330 devices. The external HandEra 330 Beta Team will judge all entries and their decision is final. Multiple applications from the same author may be submitted, however only one unit will be awarded to any single author. No purchase necessary, void where prohibited by law, odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. Prizes are not transferable. Participation constitutes participant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Contest runs until June 1, 2001. Winners will be selected before June 15th, 2001. Please allow 10 working days for prize delivery within the United States. International mail may be subject to local delays beyond our control. Prize awards subject to availability. No substitution for prizes. Judges decisions are final. Prize winners are responsible for providing the correct shipping address, a valid email addresses and handling any applicable taxes. Submissions must be original works in good taste that do not infringe on another party's trademark, license, or copyright.
