Utility allows you to view and delete your saved or unsaved preferences on your
Palm. This is a good program to find those "orphaned" preferences on your
device.

preferences editor
Saves memory for you
The second program I put on the web was Preference Manager. Each PalmPilot has a
database of preferences, very similar in function to Microsoft Windows registry.
Unlike MS Windows this database is usually kept clean. The PalmPilot operating
system erases unneeded entries when program are remove, most of the time.
Preference Manager comes to deal with the leftovers Palm operating system did
not take care of. These divide into two, the first are preferences of
application that were deleted, and were not restored when the Pilot had a hard
reset. The others were left there intentionally, for example by applications
that need to keep information, even after they are deleted, like expiration
times, license keys etc. Preference Manager lets you map each application to the
preferences it uses, find orphans and delete them to clean PalmPilot memory.
Preference Manager got very good reviews as well from ZDNet PilotZone and users
using it although its much less common then ReadThis!
