Larry, as you probably are experiencing the resource fork is "lost" when you
transfer to that "other" platform.
Metrowerks has a utility called DropRSR that will fix this. It can be
downloaded from http://www.metrowerks.com/pda/palm/extras/Utilities/ and
should solve your problem.
The other alternatives are to DeRez your resource into a *.r file from
within Apple's MPW or use the PilRC plugin at
http://www.calliopeinc.com/devcorner.htm and use *.rcp files to define
resources.
