You dont have the function defined as static do you?

hi,
I am facing probelm in adding new .c files to the
project. i have created a project with a multi segment
app. i have created some set of .c and .h files in the
.c files i have written some functions and .h files
have the prototypes of the functions. I have added
this to the project and compiling. when i am
running(making) the application it is giving linker
error saying that "The function is undefined". I have
the prototype of the function in the header file and
including the main file. can any hlp me how to link to
the source file.
