Is anyone aware of any way that I can beam a PRC to a palm from a laptop?
Let me elaborate what I'm thinking.
I know it is possible to do an IR HotSync. I further know that with a program like
pilot-xfer it is possible to do a HotSync that only installs the specified PRC.
Pilot-xfer also supports IR HotSyncing via redirection.
The downside to this is that it requires the user of the palm to instantiate a
HotSync. I would like to transfer the app via the normal beaming functionality, so
that all the user does is point their palm at the laptop and a regular beam (as if it
was palm-to-palm) occurs.
Any ideas?
