I've been working on trying to build a system library with the unix gcc
tools, and found this site, which explains how to do it
http://www.isaac.cs.berkeley.edu/pilot/shlib.html
Unfortunately, I can't get even the verbatim examples to compile with
prc-tools 0.5 or the palm-supported 2.0 versions; .5 gives a complaint
about scrt, and 2.0 does not even compile scrt.o and libscrt.a by
default; by altering crt/Makefile by switching which INSTALL line to
use, then removing the dependence on decompress.o (since it doesn't
exist), then changing a few include lines to build with the 3.5 SDK,
both compiled without incident, but I get an error in libscrt.a's
jmptable while trying to link the compiled library.
Is there something wrong with the example, or is it with prc-tools?
