it varies based on the type of application you have.
i have surveys on my website when people register software.. and
i occasionally post the info here :> been busy lately tho *grin*
but, my data is only useful if you want to write games..
the "standard" is to support at least 3.1
3.0 devices (III) can be upgraded to 3.3/3.5/4.0 however, the
devices your stuck on are handspring visors etc.. which run 3.1
and are non-upgradable
