I want to write an application that will run on a handheld dedicated to a
specific task. That is, it won't be used for anything else that this
application. Therefore, I want it to run forever (except in some specific
conditions, but it is not relevant here).
Can I safely ignore appStopEvent in my EventLoop(), or should I expect side
effects?
