Indeed.. I have a software product aimed at knitters (don't ask.. suffice to
say my wife is a knitting instructor and came up with the idea and the
design.. it has sold better than I expected).. the same day it went up,
there was already a key generator for it online at one of the crack sites..
so they don't even care about what the product is.. they crack it because
its fun and/or they think that commercial software is evil...

Actually, this is actually a favorite topic of mine (Aaron's too, I think..

One of my favorite comments in one of these is that shareware users
essentially fall into three categories.. 10% will NEVER register, 10% will
send the check as soon as they decide to keep it, and 80% would love to pay
for it, but they just have never gotten around to it. You aren't going to
stop the first 10%, you don't have to worry about the second 10%, so you can
spend your time figuring out how to encourage the 80%. The links above have
