For those interested, I've adapted a version of my ZBoxZ program so it
now works with the VFS. It can work with multiple cards (at least the
pose-d Handera 330 allows this - and PiNGer now displays 16 greyscale
in QVGA), and can do basic file management (copy, delete, rename,
attributes, make dir), view, converson, and unzip/untar operations.
Still an early beta, but quite functional and useful.

GPL.

See http://palmboxer.sourceforge.net

I also got a ZiO MMC USB interface. Don't copy all your databases to
palm/Launcher though. You will get a non-interruptable "Please Wait"
for a very long time as the Launcher scans that directory. Since I
can't USB hotsync directly yet under Linux, I copy the files to/from
the card. [the ZiO! needs a patch to be recognized by Linux which has
been submitted to the maintainer].
