Hi,

I'm experimenting with POSE3.1 and launching of application from memory
cards. As described in an intro article, POSE can emulate a card, by using a
local directory as the root of the card's directory. I've been able to add
an application to the card's page in Launcher, start it, and get a .pdb file
from the card to be copied over from the card, to that it is accessible to
the application. I've also managed to auto-launch the application, when
inserting a card. However, in the latter case I could not get the .pdb file
to be copied and hence it wasn't accessible to the application. Can this be
done?

Here's what I did in more detail:

Launch application and auto-copy pdb:
1) Setup a card directory and configure POSE to "see" it.
2) Move the app.prc and app.pdb into the /Palm/Launcher directory and set
the bundle bit of app.pdb (had to hack par to do this).
3) "Insert" the card and launch app.prc and access app.pdb through the
application's interface.
4) "Eject" card and move/rename /Palm/Launcher/app.prc to /Palm/start.prc
5) Re-insert the card. The application is auto-launched, but app.pdb is not
accessible, as if it wasn't copied over. I tried moving app.pdb into the
/Palm directory, but it didn't help.
