There are quite a few commercial, freeware and shareware apps available
(search palmgear or handango for examples). You can find our own at
http://www.markspace.com/pagenow/palmos.html. I don't think any of them
have source code posted (although we license ours for a fee).
If you want to roll your own, you'll need to consult various GSM/SMS
related documents at www.etsi.org.
You could also consider using the new routines in OS 4.0, but that
requires OS 4.0, as well as an OS 4.0 telephony supported device (not
many drivers are available yet).
If you just want to send SMS and not roll your own, we're in the
process of adding an API to PageNOW! - the initial operations supported
will be "send message", "queue message" and "check for new messages".
Now is a good time to work with us if you would need additional
functionality revealed via the API.
