Just guessing but you most likely are not assigning the text handle properly
or you are using a pointer/memory that doesn't outlive the field. Search
the KB, look up past posts on setting field text or post some of your code
for us to look at.
BTW: I never did like cod much anyway unless its made as the traditional
English fish-n-chips fashion.
