Ah.. perhaps you misunderstood what I posted.. these changes allowed me to
get around my problem.. I was offering it as a suggestion for the next
person who needs to do this. (Not that anyone really searches the archives,
it seems.. I didn't at first.. and when I did, it talked about doing this,
but no one ever said if this method worked.. I'm saying here that it worked
using penUp and penDown events and this is how I got it to work).
