All,
I am trying to write an application that uses dynamic UI. I make calls to
the functions CtlNewControl() and other dynamic UI functions. My
understanding is that these functions call a Palm OS function
PrvFixupPointers() which has a bug in it that corrupts data. This can be
witnessed by the text of a dynamically created label changing unexpectedly.
Ex:
1.) create control1 with a label with text of - "Details"
2.) create other dynamic controls and the text control1 is corrupted, and is
now - "Dekails"
Is anyone aware of a fix/patch that Palm is offering for the bug in the
PrvFixupPointers() function? Does anyone know if this has been fixed in any
version of the Palm OS? Does anyone know of a work-around to this problem?
