If "nobody" means "nobody except for at least DaimlerChrysler and Siemens
Corporation". DaimlerChrysler uses embedded web-servers
for engine diagnostics in their luxury cars. The car mechanic actually connects a
device with a built-in web-client to a socket in
the engine, which is publishing its condition through an embedded web-server.
Siemens uses embedded web-servers for the monitoring of industrial plants and for
connectivity with medical devices.

AFAIK, the main reason why the uCLinux required a TRG Superboard was, that when it was
released, Palm devices (PalmPilot Pro) did
not contain Flash ROM yet. Unfortunately, the TRG boards needed to be flashed in a
proprietary way, and it looks like nobody has
ever modified uCLinux to run with todays Palm devices :-(

Cheers,
Tilo
