This is a known OS bug (PrvFixupPointers) which is claimed to be fixed in
4.0 (I have not personally tested it)
The bug happens intermitantly on all the New functions and sometiems on
FrmAlert.

I have an intermittent problem when dynamically creating forms. Every

in a while a single character in a buttons text is changed to some other
character. I have debugged through the code and the error seems to be in

Palm OS code when calling CtlNewControl(). I think this has something to do
with the OS trying to make room for the new gadget and incorrectly moving
memory
around.
Can anyone confirm this to be a known bug in PalmOS or can anyone
explain
what I may be doing wrong?
